Between the Bookstacks – surviving finals week

Library open 24 hours for finals week

To give you the chance to study as much as possible during finals, the library will be open 24 hours a day beginning on Sunday Dec. 8, and continuing until Friday, Dec. 13. Please remember that the downstairs of the library is available for group work and projects, while the upstairs is reserved as a “Quiet Study Area.” We also have ear plugs that you can use if you need a super degree of quiet.

Finals snack breaks in library

The library will offer free coffee, donuts and candy from Sunday, Dec. 8 until Thursday, Dec. 12. The snack breaks will begin at 8 p.m. each of those evenings, and will continue while supplies last. Stop down at the Services Desk to fuel up.

Massages and therapy dogs for stress relief

On Monday, Dec. 9 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., plan to take a break in the library. Therapy dogs and massages will be available to relieve your stress and help you refocus anew. Take this opportunity to relax, rejuvenate and re-energize as you push through finals.
