Welcome Back!

The library web page underwent some changes to begin the semester. If you need help locating things please feel free to contact either your subject librarian (contact information is on the homepage under Find Information) or the Reference Desk at 445-4330.

Proquest databases get a facelift

You’ll notice a new interface in all of the Proquest Databases (see “Databases by Name” and look under “P” for a complete list of the Proquest databases available). New features include the ability to limit to a specific subject area, a clear option to find just peer-reviewed or scholarly journals, and a streamlined search box. For questions about using the new interface, please contact your subject librarian, or the Reference Desk at 445-4330.

Did you know?

Kindles are now available for checkout by Le Moyne faculty, administrators, staff or students. The devices can be checked out for three weeks, with an option for renewal. The library has purchased books that are available for reading via the Kindle, and patron requests for particular titles are also considered. To see the full list of titles currently available, search the library catalog using keyword “Kindle.”

iPads are available for check-out as well! Faculty can check out an iPad from the library for seven days, and students can use the iPads in the library for three hours.

Le Moyne faculty, staff or students can also borrow FlipVideo camcorders from the library. They are available for a five-day loan and are compatible with both Mac and PC. These are perfect devices for use in multimedia presentations or for capturing important moments.
