Syracuse Winter Fair
More stories from Becca Malachowski
The Syracuse Fairgrounds will be hosting the first ever Winter Fair from February 8th-10th. The fair will take place indoors, which is great news for people who freeze easily! The Fair will include 10 rides, including the amazing Ferris Wheel, my personal favorite. Other rides include The Scrambler, The Merry-go-round, and the Fun slide, which is a must at any carnival no matter what age you are! The rides are 3 dollars per ride and 15 for an all-access pass. Pre-sale admission is $4 for adults and $2 for seniors age 60 and above and for teens ages 13-17. At the gate, tickets will be $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and teens. Children 12 and under are free! The Winter Fair will also feature numerous food and merchandise vendors (all sales are cash only) as well as 17 FREE performances. The groups that operate the State Fair’s annual Indian Village and Pan-African Village will create mini-villages for the festival as well. The Winter fair will run from 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday and Noon – 8 p.m. on Sunday. If you’re looking for something to do, this would be a great, close by choice so I’d jump on the opportunity!
