Zac Brown Band on June 24, 2017
Zac Brown Band will be kicking off their Welcome Home 2017 tour in Dublin, Ireland this March. Last year was a record-breaking year for the band and fans are still wanting more. Their Black Out the Sun tour broke attendance records at Camden’s BB&T Pavilion and Boston’s Fenway Park, according to zacbrownband.com. This was all built off the group’s three platinum-selling albums (Uncaged, You Get What You Give, and JEKYLL + HYDE).
Zac Brown Band was first established in 2002 in Atlanta, Georgia. They played 200 gigs their first year and the band has kept up the pace ever since. In 2003, Brown started his own Home Grown label (later renamed for legal reasons to Southern Ground). He runs the label, manages the books, and produces the band’s albums. Their debut single, “Chicken Fried,” was originally recorded in 2003, but later re-recorded and released to country radio in 2008. Their first single was a cross-genre platinum-selling hit and is still a popular country favorite.

Lady Antebellum is a country band, formed in 2006 out of Nashville, Tennessee. The group is composed of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood. The trio eventually got together in Nashville where they began performing.
The band released their self-titled debut in 2008, which opened at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 200 and at No. 1 on Top Country Albums charts, according to About Entertainment. They became the first country music group to have their debut album enter the top slot of the Top Country Albums. In 2009, the group returned to the studio and released their second album, Need You Now. The title track was the lead-off single to their second album and became the group’s second No. 1 hit. On June 9, Lady Antebellum will release Heart Break, their first album in almost three years. They’ll be performing their new songs on their You Look Good World Tour this summer.

The band’s early success was seen in the United Kingdom as they reached the Top 40 singles and won two BRIT Awards in 2008. Three of their albums peaked in the top five on the UK Albums charts, according to allmusic.com. The singles “Sex on Fire,” “Use Somebody,” and “Notion” all peaked at No. 1 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks in the United States. Luke Bryan on August 12, 2017
One of country music’s most popular singers, Luke Bryan, will be coming to Syracuse before the summer comes to a close. Bryan grew up in Leesburg, Georgia and began playing music when he was 14-years-old after his parents bought him his first guitar.
Bryan eventually relocated to Nashville to pursue his love for country music and signed a contract with Capitol Records in 2001. Bryan’s first two albums peaked at No. 2 on the country charts, according to biography.com. Later on, he produced two singles, “Rain is Good Thing” and “Someone Else is Calling You Baby,” both of which made it to the No. 1 spot for country singles. His early success led to an Academy of Country Music nomination for top New Male Vocalist. Bryan released his fifth studio album, Kill the Lights in August 2015 and that is the name of his tour this summer.
