Fall is upon us, which means many things: the return of our favorite television shows, pumpkin spice lattes, apple picking, and of course . . . new music. Before you put on your shoes and run to your local record store, take a look at these new albums that are about to come out this season.

Adele, 25, 10/TBA

Yes! Adele is back and I can’t wait. I believe we’ve all been waiting for new music  since her last album 21 was released four years ago. With past hits like, “Someone Like You,” “Chasing Pavements,” and “Rolling In The Deep,”  it’s safe to say Adele has a track record of putting out amazing heartfelt music. I hope 25 lives up to the legacy of her debut and sophomore albums. I guess we’ll find out soon.

Demi Lovato, Confident, 10/16

This is Lovato’s fifth studio album. The first single off the album was “Cool For The Summer,” and her next single [which was released a few weeks ago] was “Confident”. Now, both of these singles make me very excited to listen to the full album. They have catchy lyrics and an upbeat sound that’s one of a kind. The most anticipated song on the album is called “Father”, which is set to have a very soulful gospel sound about the passing of her dad. There’s going to be something for everyone on this album.

Janet Jackson, Unbreakable, 10/2

Now, you know if it has Janet Jackson’s name on it, it’s going to be something worth talking about. This is set to be the most unforgettable comeback in music this year. After listening to the soulful R&B lead single, “No Sleep,” it’s hard to not get excited about Unbreakable. The comeback of Janet Jackson is going to be epic.  You don’t want to miss it!
